Perdido Beach Resort is known family travel. This is one of the older resorts in Orange Beach but has tons of amenities. There is 4 restaurants onsite so you really don't have to leave the resort unless you are sight-seeing. The pool area is cool, it's a indoor-outdoor lagoon pool plus they have a jacuzzi for everyone and one for adults only that I think is a little hotter than the other. The lobby lounge offers live music and a bar area to mingle. This resort also have it's own private beach to enjoy.
Okay for the room, we requested a "Partial View" ocean view room but was really disappointed. The room decor is nice, our room and deck was small. The beds are firm(you will either love it or hate it) and bed linen was good quality. We had a great view of the loud parking lot and not the ocean. The A/C unit made loud knocking sounds throughout the night so my husband had to keep getting up to adjust the thermostat to stop the noise.
The kids will enjoy the pool area and the beach at this resort.
*Tip: Try to get a room away from the parking lot/front of hotel. Maybe oceanfront of pool view would be best.**
