My daughters and I had the opportunity to participate in the American Girl Movie Premiere "Grace Stirs up Success". A great movie for girls ages 8-12. This movie encourage them not to give up when obstacles arise and that best way to stir up success is to be patient, listen and learn from others. The movie captured our attention when Grace's grandparents are losing their bakery. Grace is on a journey to save her grandparents bakery by using her learning experience she received in France!
We also toured the American Girl Rooms at the Alpharetta Marriott! The rooms are beautifully decorated in pink. The hotel offers two packages the basic and the deluxe. The basic package breakfast, cookies and milk delivered to the room, An American Girl travel bed to take home with a separate American Girl check in. The deluxe package includes everything above plus pink duvet and towels and a robe for the girls.
This is such a neat concept for the girls to have fun party in a hotel. If your kids are anything like my little ones, they love staying in hotels. They love to look for the amenities and of'course the pool. The great thing about this hotel is they have a indoor/outdoor pool. Which works out great if you have a winter birthday. The prices starts at $164 - $234 nightly. Do I think it's worth it? I think so considering that I usually spend $300 plus for my daughters party, which includes renting a facility and feeding 20 kids. If you have a party here, it can be intimate to share with your daughters BFF's! They sing and dance the night away all while enjoying cookies and milk.
