Budget Travel to Wilderness at the Smokies!

A fun place to getaway and a short drive if you live in the Atlanta area. This awesome resort features a indoor/outdoor water park with slides, wave pool and a lazy river. The indoor pool area is kept at warm temperature so it could be 40 degrees outside but a wonderful 80 degrees inside the pool area.

If you want to stay dry they have a mega arcade that would keep the kids busy for hours! It like a theme park inside this resort because they also offer a rock climbing wall, Copperhead is like a laser adventure obstacle course where the kids main goal is to avoid the lasers to finish as quick as possible. For the smaller ones, they can ride the Dare Devil Drop(kind of like Flags Free Fall but on a much smaller scales) to get the excited they are looking for. There is also a indoor balling alley, there is something for everyone. There's about seven restaurants on the resorts but are a little on the pricey. The breakfast buffet was that bad but lunch and dinner can be a bit pricey considering "Kids Eat Free".

We stayed at the Stone Hill Lodge with double queen and balcony over looking the pool. Not a bad view and it wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be to interfere with nap time for my youngest. The room are equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave in-room safe and decent size balcony. This resort offers villas with full kitchens and separate living spaces if you have a large family. I like this resort because there is something for everyone!
