Marriott Alpharetta American Girl

My daughters and I had the opportunity to participate in the American Girl Movie Premiere "Grace Stirs up Success". A great movie for girls ages 8-12. This movie encourage them not to give up when obstacles arise and that best way to stir up success is to be patient, listen and learn from others. The movie captured our attention when Grace's grandparents are losing their bakery. Grace is on a journey to save her grandparents bakery by using her learning experience she received in France!

We also toured the American Girl Rooms at the Alpharetta Marriott! The rooms are beautifully decorated in pink. The hotel offers two packages the basic and the deluxe. The basic package breakfast, cookies and milk delivered to the room, An American Girl travel bed to take home with a separate American Girl check in. The deluxe package includes everything above plus pink duvet and towels and a robe for the girls.

This is such a neat concept for the girls to have fun party in a hotel. If your kids are anything like my little ones, they love staying in hotels. They love to look for the amenities and of'course the pool. The great thing about this hotel is they have a indoor/outdoor pool. Which works out great if you have a winter birthday. The prices starts at $164 - $234 nightly. Do I think it's worth it? I think so considering that I usually spend $300 plus for my daughters party, which includes renting a facility and feeding 20 kids. If you have a party here, it can be intimate to share with your daughters BFF's! They sing and dance the night away all while enjoying cookies and milk. Garden Lights, Holiday Nights

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights
ATLANTA (October 15, 2015) Tickets are on sale for the spectacular fifth annual Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
The contemporary holiday light show, set for November 14 - January 9 from 5 - 10 p.m., features nearly 2 million energy-efficient LED lights in blazing reds, brilliant oranges and sizzling yellows.
The newest addition to the show will be the Tunnel of Light, a nearly 100-foot-long immersive corridor of scintillating illumination, leading visitors from the radiant Ice Goddess in the Cascades Garden, beneath the Canopy Walk, and back to the Fern Dellâ™s hovering galaxy of pulsating stars. More than eight feet high and equally as wide, the tunnel will embrace visitors with an enchanting corridor aglow with yellow, warm white, and red lights. Intricate “woven” patterns will make the tunnel as beautiful when viewed from above on the Canopy Walk as it is from within its arched enclosure.
In addition, the popular Glow Bar in the Outdoor Kitchen will get new dÃcor to freshen the dance-floor ambiance as the deejay spins and bartenders pour libations. Look for the smores fire pits to move to a new location in the Levy Parterre, with its spectacular view of the Midtown skyline.
Curtains of string lights, a living poinsettia wall, and orchids will welcome guests into the Conservatory lobby. Exuberant displays of flower and foliage in red, white, and silver will comprise an elegant color scheme for one of the shows most photographed destinations – the live poinsettia tree towering in the Orchid Atrium. The Bear Family in the Fuqua Orchid Center will be resplendent in finery reminiscent of the Great Gatsby era.
Visitors also will find their favorite crowd-pleasers from the past four years. The Orchestral Orbs will dance their colorful choreography on the Great Lawn to the sound of seasonal music. Santa Mantis and her insect friends will flutter through rows of glowing corn in the Edible Garden. Shimmering locks will cascade over the Ice Goddess’ majestic features, while the Ice Storm Trees glisten in her wake. Following the sound of youngsters’ laughter, visitors will find the engines and cars of the Holiday Train Show running their circuits. Children of all ages will enjoy decorating and taking their portraits as snowmen and gingerbread men at the Decoration Station, and adults can be photographed under the Kiss Me arch. Look for plenty of food and warm drink options at the new Kiosk and at the Cafe at Linton’s.
Tickets are available at atlantabg.org, at Garden admissions, or at 404-585-2060.

Garden Lights, Holidays Nights is sponsored by The Home Depot with support from the Isdell Family Foundation.

Ink Museum in Gainesville GA

Such a neat little museum nestled up in North Georgia in Gainesville. It's great place if you have kids 18 months - 10 years of age. The kids can use their imagination while piloting a plane, driving a firetruck or police car! If that doesn't keep the attention there is also a indoor playhouse, diner, medical offices, a grocery store and much more fun activities. A great place where kids imagination will come alive! Just for the moment, they can be a pilot, fireman, policeman, dentist, judge! They can rock out in a 60's diner with a jukebox! Visit http://www.inkfun.org/our-museum/ to learn more!

Disney on Ice - 100 Years of Magic

Disney always bring out the inner child! We were invited to join this 100 Years of Magic sponsored by Stoneyfield YoKids. It was an amazing experience in time. The show opened up with the classic Pinocchio! The story of a puppet that became a boy.

I really thought the turtle "Crush" from finding Nemo was really cool!

Beauty and the Beast offered their short story about love! I love the costumes.
My favorite movie of all time, Lion King also played a part in this fantastic show. Yes, Timon and Pumbaa song Hakuna Matata and Circle of Life finished the show. Definitely recommend going to see this show when it comes to your city!
