Springbreak Fun!

Springbreak is approaching quickly and we haven't finalized our travel plans!!! Believe it or not the kids said NO to the beach next month and that they would like to go to Universal Studios. It's a great idea until you start comparing prices on where you want to stay. Considering this year, my sister and husband and my nephews are joining, and of'course we all want to be together.  I have received a couple of recommendation and still searching. I'm searching for a resort feel but also have the feeling of home when we are settling down for the night. Keep checking back! I'm hoping to have everything settled up soon!

Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort - Destin Getaways

We used Destin Getaways to reserve a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo at the Bahia in the Village at Sandestin. Destin Getaways also offer us FREE golf, FREE snorkeling, FREE parasailing, FREE segway tour, FREE Baytowne Adventure Zone for each night of your stay. I wanted to be in the Village because there are activities and restaurants in walking distance. Our room offered a full kitchen stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. We had a hot breakfast every morning. This will help cut down some of the cost rather than eating out 3-4 times a day. When we went to the beach, I packed fresh fruit, sandwiches and bottle waters. Just a couple of ideas to save money.   

The Village of Baytowne Wharf has over 10 restaurants, night life, fishing charter plus ice cream shops and candy stores. If you are looking for family fun, there is an arcade with a laser maze, zip lining, adventure zone, carousel, bike rentals and more. My 5 year loved the zip lining. If you opt for a fun walking adventure, they have a marina walk near the adventure zone that offers several treehouses(even a 3 story treehouse).

This resort offers Club KZ at Sandestin, where the kids can meet new friends, explore the resort natural habitant and simply have fun.

But the main reason we visited this resort is the beach! Although we rented a condo on the bayside you can catch the Sandestin Tram to this beautiful white sand beach. You can spend endless hours here people watching, fun in sun, building sandcastles and meeting new friends. If you want to know if I would recommend this resort, I definitely would. This resorts offers tons of amenities and you really don't have to leave the resort for anything. Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort have something for everyone to enjoy. I think we found our vacation getaway spot. Only 6 hours from Atlanta, Ga. this resort is definitely a place for you visit with or without kids! You will thank me later!! Enjoy

Spring Break Fun Coming Soon!

We will be heading to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach Florida. I rented a two bedroom and two bath unit. I used Destin Getaways to reserve this unit. The great thing about this area, you can rent a unit with Sandestin , you have the option to use private travel agents or rent from owners. With our stay we received one FREE round of golf for each day , one FREE parasailing trip each day , one FREE snorkeling trip and one FREE fare on the Seablaster, along with a FAMILY FUN CARD which offers great discounts from food to fun.
